30 years ago, Robert Redford directed the iconic film, A River Runs Through It, based on the novella by Norman Maclean. For actor/activist Tom Skerritt, it was a transformative experience that sparked a passion for rivers and river conservation, sowing the seed for the limited series, Reflections of the River.

Reflections of the River sees Tom return to the Gallatin River in Montana, now joined by American Rivers, Gallatin River Task Force, and a host of fellow activists, to examine the opportunities and challenges the majestic waters are facing throughout our beautiful country. The ultimate goal of the series is to inspire people to immerse themselves in nature and truly appreciate the beauty of rivers.
